BREAKING NEWS: KING SUNNY ADE LOSES WIFE RISIKAT AJOKE ADEGEYE, TO THE COLD HANDS OF DEATH.
Veteran Nigerian juju singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, King Sunny Ade, has lost his wife, Risikat Ajoke Adegeye to the cold hands of death.
The late Risikat Adegeye, who was an ex-member of the Lagos House of Assembly, died in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to reports she died after a brief illness. The deceased was a two-time member of the Assembly Service Commission. She and KSA have 6 male children together.
King Sunny Ade is yet to release a statement as of the time of filing this report.
Reports also state that the son of the deceased, George Folarin Olawande, on behalf of the family, confirmed the death in a statement on Tuesday. It read:
"We wish to formally inform, friends, well-wishers, political associates, and the general public that Hon Risikat Ajoke Adegeye passed on after a brief illness during the early hours of Tuesday, 21st September 2021"
The sad news comes few hours to the 75th birthday celebration of the deceased husband, King Sunny Ade (KSA).
